MANY came out in the glorious weather to have a peek at the magnificent exhibitions on display at the Annual Flower and Craft Show, at North Hill on Saturday, August 13.
There was a colourful array, not just from the flowers, but the colours of the cookery exhibits and the handicrafts as well.
Opening the show was Sharon Moses, who speaks on Radio Cornwall some Sunday morning, on Garderner’s Question Time. Sharon was introduced by the president, Mrs Christine Walkers.
Sharon praised the children for their hard work in being involved in the show, not just floral, but the cookery and craft classes.
Sharon then presented all the prize winners with their trophies, and then she was the recipient of a plant herself, given by little Elsie Crane.
There was a stall selling books, jams, and fruit and vegetables, a raffle and delicious refreshments.
