Giving Lifeblood, a Christian Aid Week celebration, is on May 17 at 3pm in St Andrew's Church Stratton and is completely free. It will be an interactive presentation with stories, videos and reflections on how Christian Aid is giving lifeblood to communities in poverty.
Led by Laura McAdam of Christian Aid, this celebration will feature stories from Laura's recent trip to India as well as material from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Senegal. Presented through video, reflections and moving personal accounts this is a Christian Aid Week service with a difference and not to be missed.
Laura said, "This is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Cornwall and Devon to come together and hear how their hard work is making a tangible difference to those struggling in poverty. Christian Aid works wherever the need is greatest and I will be sharing my experiences from recent trips and the stories of people I have met."
Open to all ages and with refreshments afterwards this is a chance to hear a message of hope from around the world and be part of a fantastic movement for change.with people of all religions and none.
