Last Thursday, teachers, governors and pupils of Tintagel Primary School bid a fond farewell to class teacher Jean Whiting, who retired after 22 years. Jean, from Tintagel, is now looking forward to spending more time with her children and grandchildren. A special cake was made and a buffet held, and Jean was presented with a bouquet of flowers and other gifts to mark her retirement.
