HOLSWORTHY Rotary Club’s handover meeting took place at Roadford this year.
Good food and good company with a meal was then followed by the formal exchange of roles.
Retiring president Cedric Cook completed his year by thanking all who had worked with him for his successful year in office and wishing the incoming team the best for the forthcoming year.
The incoming president is Geoffrey Cusick, who will be supported by vice president Clifford Vickery and Margaret Benjafield as junior vice-president.
Geoff started his presidential year with the presentation of a Paul Harris Award to Rotarian Gareth Smith. This award is given for active involvement beyond that expected, and especially for Gareth’s involvement in the tree planting by the new Holsworthy cattle market and his support for the Long House appeal.
