THE crew of the Delabole Community Fire Station has expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude towards the Delabole Community Shop, following a donation that has facilitated the purchase of an additional hand held radio.

The station has been trying to raise funds to allow the crew to obtain this piece of kit, and thanks to the shop's generosity, this aim has become a reality.

The new radio will be used in the LP4 appliance — a vital piece of equipment that enables crews to reach locations in minutes and ensure the best possible outcome is met to each situation.
