On Sunday, May 17, the Griffon Choir will be fund-raising again at St. Mary's Church, Tenby, at 8 pm.
The soloist will be Gareth Holden (pictured), who is a self-taught pianist and organist. He had six piano lessons at the age of 11 and since then has developed his skill on both instruments entirely on his own.
Gareth retired from the police force in 1987 and moved to a farm near Carmarthen. He now lives in Wiseman's Bridge and continues to play both instruments. His performances tend to include non-mainstream pieces.
He will be performing on St. Mary's magnificent organ on this occasion, helping the Griffon Choir to raise funds so that they can continue to perform.
If you would like the choir to help your charity, church or organisation, please contact any choir member, or telephone Judy Davies on 01834 843316.
