THE South Petherwin Allotment Gardeners recently made a successful application to the Cornwall 100 Club and has received a grant of £1,323 towards the planting of an edible hedge and gardening resources.
The Cornwall 100 Club is a select group of like-minded businesses that believe in 'social responsibility' at a grass root level.
They have come together financially to support Cornish communities and local charities, with the grants administered by the Cornwall Community Foundation.
