A LOCAL lady is to lose her locks in support of two charities next month.
Sajla Armstrong, from North Tamerton, whose husband has been diagnosed with cancer since making the decision to hold the fundraiser, will be having a sponsored haircut in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support and The Little Princess Trust.
Funds raised in support of her efforts will go towards Macmillan, whilst the hair will be donated to the trust, which makes wigs for children suffering from cancer.
The cut will take place at the Bridge Inn, Bridgerule, on Saturday, August 24.
