KIVELLS’ Bude office was hoping to raise lots of funds for its charity partner of the year, Cancer Research UK at a quiz at the Falcon Hotel last night (Wednesday).

The quiz night followed on from the fundraising events in Callington throughout February. The Callington office locked their sweets away for Sugar Free February and raised funds by asking members of the public to guess the contents of the jar.

Brodie Floyd correctly guessed that there were 213 sweets and was the lucky winner of the entire jar of sweets and two bottles of champagne!

Dan Stokes, area manager for Kivells Bude, said: “We are proud to be supporting a charity that does so much fantastic work in a field that effects so many of us.”
