STAFF and parents from Coads Green Primary School have begun efforts to raise funds to enhance the environment for their Early Years pupils.
All money raised will go towards providing extra shelter for an outdoor area, which is lovingly used by the children in fair weather, but is restricted in bad conditions.
The adjustments to the space will allow the children to access outdoor play throughout the year, something which the staff at Coads Green believe to be important for the education of their Early Years pupils.
Staff and parents will be hosting a quiz night in Launceston Town Hall on Friday, May 18, 7pm for 7.30pm start, in a bid to raise money for the project.
Also on the night, there will be a grand draw, with a weekend at Henwood Barns to be won, along with many other prizes donated by local businesses. To reserve a table call 01566 782303 or 07854 545400 — six people per team, £5 per person.
The project will also be supported by Tesco, Launceston. From Tuesday, May 1 customers will be able to show their support for the school by voting with their blue and red tokens in store.
