Pennar has taken its village green to its heart.
At the end of Stranraer Road, The Green is a wonderful open space with lots of possibilities - and it has Village Green status, so it is there for the community to enjoy.
Pembrokeshire Communities First are putting on a fun day tomorrow (Saturday), 12 noon - 4 pm, to celebrate this lovely venue.
There will be races and games, willow weaving, wildlife spotting and story-telling. Refreshments and a barbecue will also be on hand.
Christine Gwyther from Communities First told us: "The Village Green in Pennar is a great venue, with wide open horizons and a special atmosphere. We hope everyone will come to join in the fun. Some of us remember playing there in years gone by, so it's particularly nice to reclaim the space and make it once again a play area and a venue for people of all ages to enjoy.
"All activities are free of charge, so please come along and bring the whole family."
