A SUMMER fete and teddy bears’ picnic were held at the playgroup in Rowland Gardens, Holsworthy, on Saturday, September 9.
The events were in aid of Holsworthy Pre-School Playgroup and ‘Different Strokes’, a charity that provides support for younger stroke survivors.
The mayor Cllr Jon Hutchings opened the fete and congratulated the playgroup on their new kitchen facilities.
Everyone had an enjoyable afternoon, especially the children who enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic and a trailer ride pulled by a steam engine thanks to Terry Fairbrother.
Thanks were extended to the Holsworthy Youth Football for providing a barbecue.
