CRY supporters were overwhelmed with the result of their open gardens event at Tremeer Manor, St Tudy, recently. With support from owner Lady Vanessa George and many local groups, more than £1,000 was raised for Care and Relief for the Young (CRY). A spokesperson said: "Families enjoyed a very special afternoon out with cream teas and refreshments available, singing by Camelford Primary School choir, guitar and singing performances by children from St Tudy Primary School, and a collection of teddy bears to admire and cuddle."
