POLICE have appealed for information after petrol was stolen from cars at a garage in Camelford. Thieves drilled into the fuel tanks of the vehicles to siphon the petrol — causing over £10,000 of damage.

Over the past two weeks, fuel thefts have taken place at Atlantic Motor Services, based at Valley Truckle.

The garage has a forecourt full of cars, which are parked openly, adjacent to the main road.
