FROM cakes to a human fruit machine, there was something to keep everyone entertained at the latest fundraiser in St Breward.

On Saturday, August 25 Katie Storr (aged 13) organised a successful fun morning to raise money for the ongoing improvements to the memorial hall.

Learning of the urgent need for funds for the nearby memorial hall, Katie embarked on the major task to organise and prepare for a fund raising extravaganza, encouraging stall holders to attend, making posters to advertise the event and spending many hours baking cakes for her own cake stall.
