CHILDREN at Jacobstow Primary School took part in a sponsored three-walk on Friday, March 21 to raise money for Sport Relief and school funds.
A school spokesperson said: "It was a wet, muddy and cold experience but achieved with determination and a sense of fun by all the children and lots of their parents."
More than £500 was raised for Sport Relief and updating the school playground.
Meanwhile, children from the pre-school dressed as woolly jumpers for Sport Relief. Having learnt about children the same age in Ghana, who work each day, the pre-school was keen to give their support to the cause. They wore woolly clothing and took along woolly toys and then challenged to jump as far, as high and as many times as they could and then continued jumping around the obstacle course.
