Swim Narberth Coffee Morning (March 7): The coffee morning held at the RAOB Club for Narberth Pool raised £250. The cake sale held at the pool on the same date raised £45. Previous donations of £30 brought the total to £325. The continued support from local people, businesses and volunteers is very much appreciated and shows how valued a resource the pool is and just how much people are prepared to support this worthy cause. A big thank you to the RAOB Club and the coffee team for their contribution in making this event a great success.

Horse Race (March 22): Swim Narberth had a successful and fun night at the races down at the Dragon in Narberth. A huge thank you to Steve and Louise for hosting the event and to Eric Bates and his team for running it. A sum of £621 was raised on the night, which was a great result considering the rugby celebrations had already taken their toll and the odds were stacked against us!

A big thank you to race sponsors, Felinfields holiday cottages, Mynachlogddu, Bugols of Narberth joiners, Tracey Povey reflexologist, Fay Phillips Vintage Narberth, Ian Heaps fishery, Llawhaden, Bargain Box, Narberth, Wood Office Caravan Park, Wisebuys, of Narberth, and to all those who provided the raffle prizes.

Anthony from the Dragon won first prize - a romantic night for two at Felinfields. The other prizes were a magnificent hamper kindly provided by Wisebuys, a Shiatsu treatment from Sam Hawthorn at the Narberth Health Centre, a bottle of fine whisky from Eric Bates and an 'Upcycling' session by Nicole Van Schie.

Thanks go to everyone who turned up to support the event and make their bets on the night.

The lucky race winners were Steve Pyart, Freddie Riley, Gwyn from Good Life, Zarah from the Malthouse, Rich Murry and Steve, Ralphie and Anthony from the Dragon.

It is hoped to hold another race night sometime later in the year.

Easter Inflatables Fun (March 31): Jennifer, who was on reception, says: "We had a lovely time - very, very busy. Kelly did an outstanding job with two helpers. I was on the desk and Ruth and Ceri selling raffle squares. A big thank you to all who came and the staff who were most helpful."
