ON SUNDAY, November 10, Freemasons from Bude, together with their families and friends, joined a large number of other local organisations at the annual Remembrance Day parade and wreath laying ceremony.

Five different Orders of Freemasonry met at the Masonic Hall in Bude and each one was represented. Wreaths bearing Masonic emblems were laid by members of each order and the distinctive collars of the various orders were worn by the representatives.

Thankfully, following a prolonged period of strong winds and heavy rain, the weather was fine and dry.

There was a splendid turnout by all local groups and organisations with Freemasonry in Bude being represented by a group of 23 people made up of members, families, friends and supporters.
