IN conjunction with the Stroke Association, Holsworthy Rotary Club will once again be offering free blood pressure checks at Holsworthy Agri Business Centre.
High blood pressure is the biggest risk factor for strokes which kill around 50,000 people in the UK each year. A large number of strokes could be prevented by controlling blood pressure.
A spokesperson for Holsworthy Rotary Club said: “We will be on the concourse near to the Cowshed Café on Wednesday, May 29, from 10am onwards. Rotarians Mary Osborne and Liz Jones look forward to seeing you then.”
