THERE were some wide eyes recently in the playground of Clawton Primary School, as an unusual visitor arrived to launch a festive task which will keep children busy through Christmas and the cold, dark days of January. While Santa was there in spirit (and on hundreds of competition papers), oil supply company Mitchell and Webber sent a shiny tanker along from their new Holsworthy depot to help inspire some great designs. "We've been delivering oil in Cornwall for more than a hundred years," said director John Weedon, "and now we've opened up a new depot aiming to make sure people in Devon aren't left without oil — whatever the weather. We always work with our local communities — our new drivers and office staff in Devon are from the Holsworthy area — so now we're looking forward to seeing what feats of colour and imagination the county's children can come up with to win prizes for themselves and their schools."
