A CHAWTON woman is calling for more speed checks on the A32 in a bid to stop bikers from using the road as a race track.
The call follows a four-bike pile up on the A32 just south of the West Meon Hut at around 7.45pm on May 20. One male motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other three riders – all male – were taken by road to the same hospital. Their injuries weren't thought to be life-threatening.
