FIREFIGHTERS have issued a warning to people enjoying the sunny weather not to inadvertently trigger wildfires.

The advice follows a four-acre blaze at Little Haldon on Sunday afternoon.

The beauty spot is popular with picnickers but important in environmental terms for its large areas of rare lowland heath.
