A GIANT sleepover took place at Otterham Primary School on Friday, October 10.

The annual event was attended by 49 children from 6 years old.

They enjoyed toasted marshmallows, hot dogs and were able to watch fireworks.

The event was supported by teachers and teaching assistants, who stayed over with the children. A host of 'friends' arranged the barbecue, fire, refreshments, treasure hunt and breakfast — a real team effort!

Around £400 was raised, which will go towards the new outdoor adventure play area.

A school spokesperson said: "Special thanks must go to the anonymous donor who donated the money for the fireworks, Boscastle Farm Shop and Hilltop Farm Shop for the tasty sausages, Camelford Cooperative for providing bread and rolls, and Wainhouse Stores for donating milk."
