Commercial property adviser Bilfinger GVA has been instructed on behalf of Pembrokeshire County Council to market Pembrokeshire Watersports Centre, a unique water-fronting facility in Pembroke Dock, located with direct access onto the Milford Haven Estuary.

The facility was formerly occupied by The Princes Trust and is an extensively fitted purpose-built activity centre located on the outskirts of the town. It includes a modern water sports building with associated teaching block and equipment store, together with residential accommodation blocks, sports court facility, climbing wall and woodland area. Fully occupied, the facility has the ability to accommodate circa 80 residents.

The Princes Trust operated the facility until recently and Pembrokeshire County Council is now offering the site with potential for existing use or as a redevelopment opportunity, subject to planning.

Tom Merrifield, head of agency at Bilfinger GVA in Cardiff, commented: "Pembrokeshire has a strong reputation as an extremely popular tourist destination with stunning coastal scenery and award-winning beaches. It is home to Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park, the UK's only Coastal National Park. As a result, this opportunity is unique both in terms of the location and the benefits it can offer to an operator, meaning they can trade with almost immediate effect."
