AN exhibition of paintings by Bridget Holden from 'Industrial Cornwall in the Sixties,' is currently being held at the North Cornwall Museum and Gallery.
Bridget, from Delabole, takes up the story: "This exhibition had been inspired by the fact I found a whole lot of my work from the 60s in an old chest in the loft. I had forgotten about them and they were work I had done inspired by the quarry at Delabole, where I used to work at weekends.
"The De Lank Granite Quarry at St Breward where Mr Coggin, was the manager, encouraged artists to go and sculpt. We made great friends with Muriel and Michael Cardew at the Wenford Bridge Pottery and so I did a lot of painting there."
