THE rain just managed to hold off as Father Christmas and a snowman toured Delabole, raising funds for the National Firefighters' Charity, recently.
Santa and snowman climbed aboard the fire appliance, decorated with tinsel and blue flashing lights as many villagers came out to see the tour.
Station manager Mark Saltern expressed thanks to members of the brigade and their families for attending to make it a 'great evening' and for the support from the community.
A total of £148 was raised for the National Firefighters' Charity.
