GOOD Friday worship at Morwenstow Parish Church, which took the form of a Stations of the Cross service, attracted a larger than usual congregation of both residents and holidaymakers of all ages. Against a backdrop of sunshine and spring flowers, they assembled at the lych gate before processing through the churchyard and into the church, pausing for prayer at 14 'stations' marked by colourful posters depicting scenes of Christ's journey to crucifixion. For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.

THE service was led by the Vicar, the Rev Richard Ward-Smith, with Shorne Tilbey carrying a large wooden cross.
