"WHAT an outstanding success this year's flower festival was, with phenomenally enthusiastic feedback and over £l,900 raised towards the church insurance, which rewardingly it covers this year," exclaimed organiser and St Breward Church Parochial Church Councillor Caroline Hooper, following the recent three day event.

There were 27 different displays depicting the theme of 'Around the World in 80 Days' in unusual, imaginative and beautiful ways.

The floating bicycle hanging above the chancel was a triumph, and even the willow bell and harp were auctioned off to eager bidders at the songs of praise held on the Sunday evening at the end of the festival.
