A FLORIST from Bude is going to be part of a team of Interflora florists creating an eye-catching floral installation at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Owner of Bleujen Florist, Erica Tippett is part of the team who is creating the impressive exhibit entitled ‘Open Church’, which will stand over five metres tall and reflect the elegant architecture of a church’s interior and exterior.
Showcased in the Great Pavilion, the exhibit includes intricate floral church bells, glorious feature windows and suspended chandeliers. Visitors of the show will be encouraged to walk through ‘Open Church’ to fully appreciate its impressive construction and elaborate design.
Erica said: “I’m thrilled to be part of such an amazing event and working with the Interflora team. I can’t wait to get creative and see the finished design.”
Kat Mollart, brand manager, added: “The RHS Chelsea Flower Show allows us to showcase the amazing skills and creativity of our Interflora florists. Each one of our florists has the unique blend of skills, passion and attention to details to create the most amazing floral designs, and I can’t wait to see the team bring our exhibit to life.”
‘Open Church’ can be seen in the Great Pavilion at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show from May 24 until May 28.
