Following Alfie Sleeman's funeral in November last year, £1,600 was kindly given through donations and at a Memorial Ball held at the White Hart Hotel on February 28 a further £2,396.96p was raised. A presentation to CLIC Sargent Specialist Nurse Tanya Crago was made at Launceston College on Thursday April 30 by Alfie's brother Kez and close friends who organised the ball. Paula, Gra, Rosie, Kez and Fern Sleeman would like to thank (belatedly) everyone who attended Alf's funeral last November. Although it was a sad occasion we were overwhelmed by the love and support from everyone there. We hope it was a fitting tribute.
