HOLSWORTHY Town Council has unveiled a master plan for the £600,000 regeneration of Stanhope Park, which will be kick started by the installation of two new play areas early next year.

At a meeting of the full council on October 3, Holsworthy Town Council unanimously approved the first stage of the plan, which aims to transform the Park's play areas by delivering innovative new play equipment for youngsters aged from 0 to 16.

Two new play areas —valued at an estimated £151,000 — will mark the start of the regeneration of the park, which will eventually also benefit from a new multi-use games area, youth dome, new walkways, seating, picnic areas and landscaping.
