Many local traders sponsored the successful event. One of the organisers, Simon James, said: "It's great to get the local support so that we can keep the event free for everyone."
The display lasted for just over 15 minutes to the delight of the audience.
Joint organiser Paul Haynes expressed his thanks to all the team who gave their time for free including the girls Annie, Keely and Debs selling the burgers, hotdogs etc, DJ Growler for the music and announcements, the bar staff and all the guys from Bumblebees Marquees."
Nearly £1,000 worth of fireworks were ignited on the night and fundraising has already begun to make next year's event even bigger and better.
