CAMELFORD will once again be getting into the festive spirit on Saturday, December 6, when the town's Christmas lights will officially be switched on.
This year's event will begin at 6pm when Camelford Carnival Queen Lauren Sym will launch a spectacular fireworks display at Sir James Smith's School, Camelford.
Following the fireworks, there will be a torch-lit procession, led by Father and Mrs Christmas, with the Camelford Town Band from Dark Lane to Clease Road, Fore Street and Market Place for carol-singing at Enfield Park in readiness for the switching-on of this year's Christmas lights display.
A road-closure with safety-marshals will be in place during the procession.
