A FIREMAN versus food challenge was organised with proceeds going to The Firefighters Charity caring for current and Retired Firefighters and their families, during Bude Fire Station's annual open day.

With a large crowd assembled, four giant naan breads, two curries and a load of rice was eaten in 10 minutes flat by firefighter Clark leaving firefighters Vodden, Miles and Wonnacott in his wake.
