MORE than forty firefighters from Cornwall and Devon tackled a fire at Newport Industrial Estate, Launceston.

Crews from Launceston, Callington, Liskeard, Crownhill, and Holsworthy were called to the industrial unit blaze at around 10.10pm on Sunday (January 24).
Three wholetime officers, a command vehicle, operational support vehicle, aerial platform, and welfare vehicle also supported with the incident.
The crews left the incident shortly after 2am when the fire was extinguished.
