AFTER 20 years, Bude and Stratton Operatic and Dramatic Society has been disbanded.
At the society's extraordinary general meeting on February 28, it was agreed to disband and distribute surplus funds and assets to local organisations.
It has been about eight years since the society last presented a show.?It was formed in October 1993, under the name of Bude and Stratton Entertainers.
The first show by the society was 'My Fair Lady', and many more were presented under the new name of Bude and Stratton Operatic and Dramatic Society; including, The Sound of Music, Oliver!, South Pacific, Carousel and The King and I.
