Enthusiasts gathered in Bude on Friday to show off their colourful classic cars — Betty, Bella and Marmaduke were amongst 14 others, which have been given names by their owners.
The Italian car was made famous by the 1969 film, the Italian Job. After an Italian meal at Elements, Widemouth Bay, on Friday, drivers headed to Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle on Saturday.
The day was rounded off by a concert with the Arscott Ladies Choir and Bencoolen Wreckers in Bridgerule. Chairman Keith Roberts amused everyone with his jokes, some at the expense of the Fiat 500 Club members. The concert raised £465 for the village hall refurbishment fund.
The weekend was complete with a visit to Holsworthy Vintage Vehicle and Engine Rally at Killatree Cross. The chairman of the club talked about the cars as they drove around the exhibition ring. An impromptu car show was held at Holsworthy Golf Club, where members had a farewell meal.
