CHRISTMAS lights at Pipers Pool were switched on again this month in memory of resident Paul Perkins, whose festive illuminations were a favourite sight in the village.
Paul died on December 28 after being unwell for a number of years.
Hundreds of people would pass through to look at the lights, a display he used to put on annually.
The lights were switched on again on January 6 as a tribute by his brother, Ray.
Paul moved to Pipers Pool in 2000 and had previously been a cabin service director for British Airways.
Paul's friend Alan Brook said: "He always loved Christmas and made it very special. Peter Hicks always helped him, creating the structures and putting the lights out for Paul."
