MORE than £1,500 was raised at a Christmas fair on November 15 in aid of Launceston Memory Café.
Held in the town hall, town crier Rob Tremain opened the event, which raised £1,696.74.
Cym Downing, chair of the Memory Café, who organised the event with Jean Clements, said: “I would like to thank all the stallholders, the people who attended and most of all, all the people who gave prizes — we had about 40 prizes donated by businesses in Launceston.”
