VILLAGERS in St Breward were full of festive cheer on the night of Monday, December 8 when they ventured out to celebrate the annual switching-on of the Christmas lights.

Santa stopped by to take last-minute requests from the children as the crowd enjoyed some mulled wine while listening to St Breward Silver Band.

An unexpected guest this year was a tame sheep, Shaun, who delighted children and adults alike by getting into the festive spirit in his tinsel wreath and brazen attempts to steal the mince pies.
