A TOWN park was transformed into a fun-filled scene and food and drink showcase for all the family last weekend.
Holsworthy Food and Drink Festival returned for the second year at Stanhope Park, with some popular new additions.
Entertainment kicked off the festival on Thursday evening with Patrick Monahan's 'Adventures in Monahan Land', followed by a giant sing-a-long to Disney's Frozen on Friday evening. More than 300 children, many dressed the part in Frozen costumes, and adults packed the park marquee to watch the film.
Organiser, Jon Hutchings said: "It was a great weekend and all the events were well supported! Patrick Monahan, a fantastic show even if it did get rather cold. More than 300 people attended to watch Frozen — a great show for the younger ones, and some of the older ones."
A variety of foods, from paella to pickle, spicy curries to sweet samples — there was something to suit everyone's taste on Saturday. Demonstrations from local chefs, a talk from a local brewery and live music in the evening were washed down with refreshments including 15 different types of ale, cider and lager.
