DESPITE some inclement conditions — to say the least — Leopallooza XII once again successfully weathered the storm and played host to thousands of festival fans, as well as some of the most exciting new and established music in the world.
High-energy, well-received sets from main stage headliners Kelis — her fusion of Milkshake into Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit a definite highlight — Public Service Broadcasting and St Paul and The Broken Bones provided big-crowd, big-atmosphere moments for the Leopallooza audience in an intimate and super-friendly festival arena.
The Funny Side, the new comedy area at Leopallooza, was a huge hit with the ticket buyers, drawing a crowd so big for Russell Kane that extra provisions were made to accommodate his audience.
The weekend also saw other standout, stand-up performances from Josh Widdicombe, Shappi Khorsandi, Bobby Mair and many, many more.
See this week’s Post to see who else performed.
