THOUSANDS poured into Lostwithiel for a day of dancing, music, historical happenings and plenty of great food and drink as the town celebrated Lostfest.
The festival, supporting the charity FLEET (Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust), is one of Cornwall's most popular one-day events.
With 25 live bands and performers, more than 100 arts and crafts stalls and demonstrations, and plenty of children's activities, there was something to intrigue and entertain everyone.
Organisers had told visitors to 'arrive hungry,' and this seemed like good advice, given the many foods from around the globe that were on offer.
Medieval re-enactors Kernow Levy once again drew their swords on the bridge and invaded the town, while the Renaissance Historial Dance Society were also in period costume.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: 'It was a brilliant day of sunshine, amazing food, fabulous music and entertainment.
'A huge thank you to all the people who contributed to such a great day – volunteers, musicians, entertainers, traders, visitors. We loved every minute.
'So many people worked tirelessly behind the scenes and we want to thank each and every one of them for making LostFest brilliant.'
