DEVON and Cornwall Police have confirmed that a female pedestrian was taken to hospital after a road traffic collision.
Multiple emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the Link Road in Launceston during the morning of Wednesday, September 17.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We were notified by the ambulance service of a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the Link Road, Launceston, at around 11.50am [on Wednesday, September 17].
“Police, ambulance and fire services attended the scene.
“The female pedestrian was taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries is yet to be confirmed, but it is not currently thought they are life-threatening.”
