NORTH Petherwin farmer, Mike Bearns, has been announced as the 2019 president of Launceston Agricultural Show.

Taking over from the 2018 show president, Eric Uglow, Mike has farmed at North Petherwin for the last 50 years. He has always been heavily involved in the annual agricultural show, stewarding the Herefords, Friesians, Holsteins and latterly the trade stands.

Show-goers will be able to catch Mike at the 2019 show, which will be held on July 25. More information about the show can be found at launcestonshow.co.uk
