THERE was a great turnout for the annual Tregadillett Fun Day on Saturday, May 11.

As their last official duty as Mayor and Mayoress, Rob and Pat Tremain opened the fun day, and were presented with a bouquet and button hole by three year old Sophie Brain. Sophie had been ill last year, but is now making a great recovery.

Cllr Tremain praised the parish council and all its supporters on "yet another" successful fun day.

Cllr Tremain and his wife went on to judge various competitions held in the community hall. A full programme of events had been planned for the whole day, with a fancy dress competition, and Launceston Town Band, under their conductor, Ann Brown, starting the proceedings.
