PA23/02039: A proposed single storey side extension and rear extension (ground floor bedroom) with a proposed decking platform for access to rear garden and front porch canopy for a property in Lezant has been approved by Cornwall Council.

Mr and Mrs Venning applied to the local authority for the work at their property at Trevallen, Lazant, Launceston.

It was granted subject to the following condition: “Prior to the first use of the decking hereby approved, a 1.8m privacy screen shall be erected in the west elevation of the decking in accordance with the details shown on approved drawing 0714-09 A the privacy screen shall be retained as such thereafter.

“Reason: To protect the privacy of occupiers of Beechcroft and in accordance with Policy 12 of the Cornwall Local Plan Strategic Policies 2010 - 2030 (adopted November 2016)”
