YET another stupid ruling from the EU! They now want to ban sheep dogs as they feel it is unfair to the sheep and the dogs are too agressive.

Instead farmers and helpers will have to go out into their fields of sheep with flags and wave these to scare the sheep to go in the correct direction. If you do not have flags, you will have to wave your arms and shout. (No, it's not April Fool's Day, that's gone).

The idea of this new ruling, they say, is because when the sheep get to the abattoir their meat is the wrong colour.

I believe that the colour change in the meat is due to many other reasons, it has absolutely nothing to do with the collies who the sheep have been used to from birth.

Can you imagine the 'fun' any hill farmers or moor farmers would have when thay have to bring their sheep in, and the extra expense of hiring many more hands. Do the EU unelected members of parliament have competitions to see who can make up the most silly rulings? This has seriously got to stop. The cost of food is high enough.
