PUPILS and staff at Budehaven Community School continue to strengthen their relationship with a school in Ethiopia, following a visit from its headteacher.
The visit from Yohanes Lule, of Assosa High School, has seen the partnership between the two schools grow from strength to strength.
Budehaven last Monday week held an 'Ethiopian Day', which saw students warmly welcome Yohanes to the school and community.
He took part in a busy programme of events — he met year groups in assemblies and observed and took part in lessons and after-school clubs.
During his visit he went to Bude Junior School and town business Bott, which had previously donated tools for Assosa's environmental club.
Yohanes met the team of students who travelled to Ethiopia last year and enjoyed a cream tea with them.
