CHRISTINE Wood, of Holsworthy, will again be at Crufts with her rehomed Burnese Mountain Dog Tamarbern Dusky Maiden, pet name Layla.

Christine said: "Layla has continued her winning streak with two more successful years in the show ring. I am so thrilled and proud of her achievements especially with me not having shown before, so we have both learnt together. She is my best friend and treasured loyal family pet first and foremost, but am thrilled to have qualified for Crufts a third time.

"She has also won three best in shows at companion dog shows and was placed at every championship show entered last year, winning both her classes at the national dog show as well as attaining four working group placing and numerous best of breeds at open shows. She truly is amazing and look forward to many more happy hours of enjoyment together."
